Privacy Policy — Savings Challenge

1. Introduction

Savings Challenge ("we", "our", or "the App") is a personal finance tool developed by Nevor Labs that helps you organize savings goals through interactive challenges. This policy describes how the App handles your information.

2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

All information you provide — including challenge names, savings goals, marked values, deadlines, preferences (language and currency), and the status of the remove-ads purchase — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. This data is never sent to our servers.

You can delete all locally stored data at any time from within the App. If you uninstall the App, all local data will be permanently deleted.

3. Google Account & Cloud Backup (Optional)

If you choose to use the Google Drive backup feature, the App will:

• Request access to your Google account email, display name, and profile photo via Google Sign-In, used solely to identify your account within the App.
• Request the drive.appdata permission, which allows the App to read and write only to its own hidden application folder on your Google Drive. The App cannot access, view, or modify any other files on your Google Drive.
• Store a single backup file containing your challenge data in this hidden folder.

You can disconnect your Google account and delete the backup at any time from the App's settings. When you disconnect, the App revokes its access to your Google account.

4. Notifications (Optional)

If you enable notifications, the App will request your device's notification permission to send you reminders about your savings challenges. Notification preferences and history are stored exclusively on your device and are never sent to external servers.

You can disable notifications at any time from the App's settings or your device settings.

5. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements (banners, interstitials, and native ads). Google AdMob may collect and process certain data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy, including:

• Advertising identifiers
• IP address
• General location data
• App interaction data

You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings. For more information, visit Google's Ads Settings.

You can also remove all advertisements from the App permanently through a one-time in-app purchase. See section 6.

6. In-App Purchases (Optional)

The App offers two optional purchases, both processed entirely through Google Play Billing:

• Buy me a coffee — voluntary contribution to support development, with no functional effect on the App.
• Remove ads — one-time lifetime purchase that permanently disables all advertisements in the App.

We do not collect, store, or have access to any payment information. All transaction processing is handled by Google Play.

To verify the status of your "Remove ads" purchase, the App queries the Google Play Billing API in the following situations:

• On the first launch after installation or reinstallation, if the status is not yet recorded on your device;
• When you tap "Restore purchase" on the remove-ads screen.

The result of this check (whether or not you own the purchase) is stored exclusively on your device. You can manage your purchases at any time through the Google Play Store.

7. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not operate backend servers or databases that store your personal data.
• We do not use analytics or tracking services beyond what Google AdMob provides.
• We do not collect financial or banking information — the App only tracks savings goals you manually input.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
